Content Reporting & Takedown Policy

1. Report something

Open a support ticket at https://www.translatorpub.com/contact with the topic “Report content”. Please include the link to the content, why you believe it is illegal or breaks our policies, your name and e-mail (unless you are reporting child sexual abuse material, where you may stay anonymous), and a statement that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete.

This ticket system is also our single point of contact for members, authorities and the European Commission under the EU Digital Services Act. We can communicate in English, German, Spanish and French.

2. Copyright notices (DMCA and similar)

For copyright complaints, also identify the work you believe is infringed, confirm that you are the owner or authorised to act for them, and add your signature (a typed full name is enough). The member concerned may send a counter-notice through a support ticket.

3. How we decide

We review reports promptly and carefully. We may remove or restrict content, or suspend an account. We tell both the reporter and the affected member what we decided and why (a statement of reasons), unless the law or safety prevents it. We don’t use fully automated decisions to remove content.

4. Appeals

If you disagree with a decision, reply to the ticket within 6 months and we will review the decision again. In the EU you may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or go to court.

5. Repeat misuse

We may suspend accounts that often post clearly illegal content, and people who often send clearly unfounded reports, after a warning.
