Acceptable Use Policy & Community Guidelines

Be honest

• Use your real identity and represent only organisations you are authorised to represent.
• Don’t claim qualifications, certifications, memberships, sworn or certified status, or experience you don’t have.
• Post only real jobs you intend to award and can pay for. No fake jobs used to collect CVs, free samples or personal data.
• Don’t submit other people’s work, or raw machine or AI output, as your own human work when the job asks for human work. Always disclose the tools you used if the client asks.

Respect people and data

• No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats or sexual content.
• Don’t request or share personal data beyond what a job needs, and follow the Data Processing Agreement for files.
• Never ask linguists to pay to apply for a job, to buy training, software or “registration” in order to be hired, or to receive and forward money. These are common scams.

Protect the Platform

• No spam, bulk unsolicited messages or chain messages.
• No scraping, crawling, bulk downloading or automated harvesting of profiles, contacts or jobs, except through our published feeds and APIs under their terms.
• Don’t probe, overload, bypass security or access limits, share accounts or seats beyond your plan, or resell access.
• No malware, phishing links or illegal content, including content that infringes copyright or trade marks.

Enforcement

We may warn, limit, suspend or close accounts and remove content that breaks this policy, depending on how serious it is and how often it happens. To report a problem, use the “Report content” process in the Content Reporting & Takedown Policy or open a support ticket.
