BIOGRAPHY

I was born in 1970 in Rachaburi Province and raised in Bangkok in Thailand. In 1992, I graduated from Thammasat University, a top-three university in Thailand, with a bachelor degree in French and English. During my academic life at Thammasat University, I won a partial scholarship of French Government, spent one year as an an exchange student at The Center of Applied Linguistics of University of Franche-Comte in Besancon in France and graduated with a diploma in French Studies in 1991.

After that, I ventured into the international banking business at Krung Thai Bank Pcl. in Chiang Mai, Thailand. At the age of 32, I decided to quit my banking job for continuing my study at The University of Auckland in Auckland, New Zealand.

During my academic life there, I did academic yet controversial and rare research. I reversed second language learning mainstream research tradition that has over-researched the minority powerless students learning the majority imperialist language. Instead, I probed a majority European-derived New Zealander learning The minority Maori, endangered language. The results are worth reading. I graduated in 2004 with a master degree in Applied Language Studies and Linguistics. I have previously been employed in a number of professions ranging from banker and lecturer to interpreter, translator, editor, proofreader and transcriber.

Most recently, I have been working as a contract lecturer in English at Maejo University in Chiang Mai, Thailand, my second home, and work for various companies in translation industry around the globe. My publication includes Thai translation version of "New Media Art" from TASCHEN as well as a controversial piece of research "Narrative Metaphors of Conflicting Identity: A Case Study of a Majority Pakeha Student Learning the Minority Maori Language" at LAP Lambert Academic Publishing.

WHY AM I THE RIGHT PERSON FOR YOU?

1. Real Native Thai: I was born and have so far lived in Bangkok in Thailand, where official Thai language, or central Thai dialect, is spoken, so do not worry about my Thai nativeness and dialect. Besides, I am well educated and cultured at one of the most prestigious universities focusing on Social Sciences and Humanities in Thailand, so my written Thai language use is up to the par and definitely conforms to the norm.

Pros:.Ability to comprehend sophisticated Thai language profoundly and deliver natural standard Thai language in both written and spoken forms.

2. English Proficiency: I spent several years studying English skills and linguistics extensively with ones of the best English lecturers in the Kingdom of Thailand and applied English linguistics and language use with ones of the most well-known western scholars in the field at The University of Auckland in New Zealand. More than that, my written English conforms to the western norm to the point where my research piece is published worldwide, while my risk taking in speaking the language in naturally English speaking environment led me to have been fluent in spoken English till now. I am also a well-screened English lecturer at a public university here in Thailand who teaches English skills to Thai students on daily basis.

Pros: Ability to comprehend complicated discourses and colloquial conversations in written and verbal form (I do English-Thai subtitle) and produce written English based on real language use.

3. Message Transfer and Intercultural Adaptation: I studied several French-Thai translation courses with several Thai scholars who had completed their PhD education from ESIT (l'École Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs at The University of Sorbonne Nouvelle 3, Paris, France), whose theoretical and practical emphasis is on not only actual message transfer from source to target languages but also cultural adaptation to suit the target culture.

Pros: Your target product is message-oriented and culturally appropriate.

4. Over 8 years of hands-on e
